Health IT Mobile app that Doctors love. What do you think?
Medical Professionals are always on the move with litte time left over for anything. I’ve reviewed and recommended a number of mobile apps to my customers over the years and I have to say, they really made a difference in their lives. I will someday get around to writing a top 10 list of the most usable apps in the Healthcare field, but I thought I would 
start with Epocrates Rx Free. Epocrates Rx is a continuously updated drug database that doctors, nurses and other professionals can use to pull up medical information–such as whether certain drugs have potentially harmful interactions–on the fly. The BlackBerry version includes monographs for more than 3,000 drugs and photos to help identify medications by physical characteristics.
This little app is probably the most popular mobile app used by my health care customers. You can read more about it as well as download it here.
