What is the difference between HIPPA and HIPAA?
One of my partners does alot of work for hospitals (construction based work) and he is not sure if he should get HIPPA certified, as sometimes he deals directly with patient information. I though this would be a great question to discuss with you guys. He thinks he should get certified but he is confused as to how & what HIPPA vs. HIPAA is. What do you guys think?
As far as I know, there is no such thing as HIPPA. HIPAA is the correct acronym:
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
